Children and young people living with a vision impairment are invited to have a go at sports such as archery, judo, boccia and bikes, trikes and tandems, to discover a new favourite hobby!
'Our Futures, Our Sports', is part of the Our Futures Project, a collaboration between RNIB Northern Ireland and The National Lottery Community Fund Northern Ireland, as well as sports organisations including Archery GB.
The event will welcome children and young people aged 8-25, with a vision impairment along with their immediate family members including parents, guardians, carers and siblings.
It will take place on Saturday, 31 August at South Lake Leisure Centre, Craigavon.
Additional activities such as an introduction to the gym, climbing walls and canoeing will be bookable on the day, as well as information stands so you can find out more about opportunities in your area from sports providers.
There will also be a motivational talk from international judo champion Collette Kerr, from Simply Judo Adapts.
Lisa Wheeler, Regional Development Officer for Northern Ireland, said: "Archery GB has been working very hard with all the various partners to make the following event a reality, therefore it will be one of the key sports offered at this event.
"Tony Barclay MBE, newly qualified VI AGB Coach and Archery GB Director will also be one of the coaches in attendance.
"Come along and find out more about the incredible, inclusive sport of archery."
