A new TV show aimed at primary school aged children will feature soft archery on an upcoming episode.
I Can Do It, You Can Too helps talented kids pass on their know-how to young rookies. Presenter Aaron Roach Bridgeman encourages kids to stay active and pick up new skills.
The archery episode will air on Thursday 14 March at 5pm. However, if you can't wait, it will be available to view on iPlayer from Monday 11 March from 5:30pm:
During the episode, rookie Ariana has a go at soft archery for the first time ever. Her coach is Adam who has been practicing the sport for over a year. After sharing some important archery rules, Adam shows Ariana how to stand, pick up the bow and arrow and release!
Finally, it’s time for Ariana to shine. She has three arrows, and with Adam encouraging from the sidelines, will she hit the target?
You can become amazing archers at home, by practising how to use an imaginary bow and arrow with Aaron.
Mandie Elson, Archery GB ambassador, who helped deliver the Arrows session, said: "I’m so looking forward to seeing the episode and the two children involved are way, way excited about sharing this with their school friends and families."
