Anyone who books and visits the activity centre between 27 December 2021 to 31 January 2022 will receive a free return visit to the attraction's archery range later in the year.
The indoor range gives archers the chance to shoot in comfort through the Christmas holidays while perhaps trying another adventure activity with your family or friends.
Each of The Bear Grylls Adventure’s archery instructors have undertaken Archery GB’s official instructor training. This has both advanced their skills and expanded their experience in teaching eager visitors how to shoot and enjoy the sport.
The completed training marks confirmation of the official partnership between Archery GB and the family activity centre, which is based in Birmingham.
To celebrate the partnership, the centre is offering a free return visit to anyone who books an archery experience between 27 December 2021 and 31 January 2022. The return visit will take place later in 2022.
As our members know, archery is the ideal activity to enjoy while spending time together with friends and family. Having had a full briefing, visitors taking part in archery are led to The Bear Grylls Adventure range by its Archery GB licensed instructors for an action-packed archery session – a perfect introduction to the sport. Once they’ve refined their aim, participants’ competitive juices are put to the test with a series of engaging challenges that showcase the fun and enjoyment of archery.
Gayle Pink, Head of Clubs and Communities at Archery GB, said: “We’re delighted to announce this partnership and further expand archery’s appeal beyond the traditional membership and athlete pathways. Archery is an inclusive sport, ideal for all the family and is perfect for breaking down barriers, offering an accessible pathway into sport, no matter fitness levels or existing physical abilities or simply an opportunity to have fun with friends.
“The elevation of the sport throughout the summer – which saw Phoebe Paterson Pine and Victoria Rumary take home gold and bronze medals respectively from the Paralympics – showed everyone what an inclusive experience archery can be. Through this partnership we hope families and friends will be encouraged to give the sport a go and discover the incredible fun of seeing their arrows hit the target and hopefully continue their archery journey with a certified beginners’ course at one of our clubs.”
Sarah Whitaker, Senior Marketing Manager at The Bear Grylls Adventure said: “It is fantastic to be partnering with Archery GB and we are delighted that, with the help of their instructor training programme, we have been able to further develop our offering and our team’s expertise in the sport. We can’t wait to welcome even more visitors to come and try the sport for themselves and discover the joy of archery.”
